A "suspicious object" was discovered by the Secret Service on Sunday as President Donald Trump was headed to Palm Beach International Airport from Mar-a-Lago, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement.
The finding warranted a further investigation and caused the presidential motorcade to take a different route than normal, Leavitt said.

“During advance sweeps of PBI airport, a suspicious object was discovered by the U.S. Secret Service. A further investigation was warranted and the presidential motorcade route was adjusted accordingly,” Leavitt said.
Further details on the object have not yet been released by officials.
